Automation payment related costs
This module is provided but you need to connect to a Payment Service Provider (PSP) and to have an European Bank.
Costs might be different from a provider to another, that is why we have selected two leading providers to help you make your choice and guarantee you the best negotiated prices.
To understand the automated payment related costs, you need to consider the following :

- Tokenisation fees
- Fraud verification fees
- Transaction fees: based on the credit card type and the issuing country. These fees are calculated based on the interchange rate, you can find this rate in your bank statement.
You also need to consider the hidden costs.

Glossary
Tokenisation : is a process of replacing sensitive data with non-sensitive data. In the case of a reservation, payment is possible if you the credit card holder gives his authorisation.
Interchange fees: a fee paid between banks for the acceptance of card-based transactions.
PSP: the providor will collect the money on your behalf from your client. The money is your property, however, it will be stored by the operator. The money is transferred every day to your bank account by a SEPA transfer. Your bank will not take any transaction fees. You don’t need a merchant account with your bank.
Gateway : the operator sends the credit card information to you bank to process the transaction. Your bank will apply the credit card transactions fees as per your contract.
